"If you want to be truly successful invest in yourself to get the knowldge you need to find your unique factor. When you find it and focus on it and persevere, Your success till blossom." ~ Sidney Madwed

Could you please tell us a little about your book?

This is the story of Tamara Elizabeth, my story of a woman who has discovered how through my own reflections, the truly fabulously lovable self; the authentic woman that I was born to be. I now live with moxie like the trail blazing women of the 20’s.

It is the reflection of my journey and from these reflections I created a workbook for you, the readers, to assist you on your own journey to find the most authentic loveable you. The “Me” is your voice. I speak as you. I have been where you have travelled.
I invite you into my world and to reflect upon your world. Enjoy the journey – I promise you it will be the most fabulously wonderful ride of your life.

Did something specific happen to prompt you to write this book?

I found myself having to start life all over again at 50. My 2nd marriage crumbled under the weight of my husband’s addictions to alcohol and prescription drugs and I had to leave that life behind to save my soul. It was a difficult and scary decision to make but I knew I had no other choice. With therapy and coaching I realized my level of self-love and then my self worth was only measured by me not the measuring rod of others. I took my essays that I had written as part of me healing process and created a workbook with the hopes that the experiences /I have faced head on will help other women hurdle their challenges and see the amazing light that is at the end of every tunnel.

Who is your biggest supporter?

My 4 grown children – my most amazing accomplishments, and my coach and mentor Barbara Conelli. She doesn’t believe “easy” is any fun and ‘No” is not in her vocabulary in any language and she speaks many fluently.

Is there an author that inspired you to write?

Erma Bombeck was my favorite writer because I shared her passion for finding the lighter side of true life. There are so many inconsistencies and bloopers along the road to living. When they are put into print they help us to not only laugh at the situations but teach us the value of laughing at ourselves. Because when we learn not to take ourselves so seriously the healing qualities of laughter work miracles and we see instant remedies of the best medicine in the world.

What do you feel has been your greatest achievement as an author?

Finishing the book and holding the printed version. Seeing this goal realized confirmed that I didn’t let the toxic situation I left defeat me.

What do you feel sets this book apart from others in the same genre?

It is written from my soul with no blame or guilt and it is a tool for women to use to help themselves. I believe in hands-on, so this workbook can become any woman’s best friend where she can write what she wants how she wants and covet it forever looking back at how far she has travelled forward with each page.

Are you a different person now than you were 5 years ago? In what way/s?

Yes very much so. I was co-dependent and unsure that I deserved love and success because I wasn’t perfect enough for anyone. I was so busy attaching my self worth and happiness on other people ad situations that when I found myself buried in an extremely toxic relationship I didn’t know what to do – I just wanted to die. Today, I found out what I am, learned to love “Me” and forgive me, and I am extremely grateful for the journey I have traveled so far. I am so proud of the person I am and I know that everything that has happened to me along the way has made me the amazing person I am today.

What is your favorite past-time?

Hiking, photography, reading, traveling the world hanging out in locals’ areas.

Is there anything else you would like to share with us?

With the increasing ease to get published today, every budding author has something of value to share with the world and the world is open and waiting to embrace your gift. So just do it! Publish your works and share your expertise no matter what it is with the world. Eventually this planet and its people will be a better place for doing so – one book at a time.
